today

I'm feeling a little emotionally drained today. So I decided that I need to make a list of some of the good things in my life right now to help change my focus. Here goes.

The leaves are all changing colors. I love fall.
The wedding day is only 24 days away.
We get start moving things into our new home in about a week and a half.
Ashley made me a wedding countdown, and i get excited every morning to see what the quote is for the day!
Ashley also sent me the Proposal, and that movie makes me laugh out loud. She is a wonderful cousin, friend and matron of honor. : )
Caeley makes me so happy.
Tim is still the sweetest boy I have ever met.
Slowly, but surely, things are getting crossed off the to do list.
We get new RSVP's every day! Love those things.
I have awesome friends.
I got to have a lovely catch up dinner with Jessica Forbes on Monday.
My hair is colored and trimmed for the wedding.
I will probably have ice cream today. I keep saying each day is my last day for junk food before the wedding, but each day i have a reason to make cookies or go get ice cream.
The weather is not freezing like last week. It's actually really nice outside.
God is so good.

lost and found

Saturday morning around 11 am Caeley went outside to play. Whenever anyone steps outside, both of our dogs come running to the porch trying to sneak in. I knew something was weird when it was just Ben coming to the door. I went outside and called for Stiller (yes, our dogs names happen to be Ben and Stiller. Sort of an accident.), but he didn't come. So we searched high and low in the back yard, and still could not find him. We also could not find any way that he could have escaped except for a very small hole in the fence that would have been a struggle to get though. This hole led to our neighbors backyard. We concluded that the only possible place he could be was there.

We called them and left a few messages, but they weren't home and never called back. We also walked around to the front of their home to try and see in the fence...but the dogs wouldn't come close enough for us to see them. That night when my dad and Konnor got home, they put a ladder up to the fence and Konnor climbed into their back yard to check it out. But all the dogs had gone inside the house for the night. We were afraid that Stiller was probably in their home destroying everything since he is still a chewing puppy.

The following day, the neighbors were in their back yard, and Konnor went out to ask them if our dog happened to be back there. Those neighbors are so dumb. They said that they DID find a dog in their back yard the day before, but they didn't know whose it was so they just LET HIM GO out their front door.

Awesome. I then called the animal shelter and described what he looked like, and he was there! I was so thankful to hear that from the first number i called. So Tim and I drove across town to go pick him up. We had to pay 153 dollars to take our dog home. Those neighbors cost us 153 dollars. AND the food at the shelter made him sick so he had poop all over him when we went to get him. They told us they had already cleaned him off twice and they didn't want to clean him again. We tried to clean him off ourselves the best we could since he was going to be riding on my lap in the car, but he still smelled pretty poopy. He also threw up in Tim's car on the way home. So fun.

BUT I'm so thankful that he is safe and back home. I love that puppy. Not so fond of the neighbors right now.

rsbpp....

I tried to explain the RSVP's to Caeley. She said that she would be sure to do that for the wedding. I had her go tell Tim, and she said, "I'm gonna rsbpP!"

Everyone else....you should rsbpp too....because i LOVE getting mail. : )
